Jamaica, Office of Ordnance, Kingston, 12 July 1782, Bill of Exchange for Five Hundred Pounds Sterling at Forty Percent, equal to Seven Hundred Pounds in Jamaica Currency, in part payment for barrels of gunpowder for ‘supply of His Majesty’s Fleet at Jamaica’ and addressed to ‘The Right Honourable and Honourable the Principal Officers of his Majesty’s Ordnance, Tower, London’. Ink has eaten through in places, otherwise good very fine £120-150
