Thomas Spence series, Mule Halfpence (5), from the same obv. die as previous, revs. shepherd, london and engrailed edge, 10.57g/6h (DH 853), men under tree (2), spence edge, 10.94g/5h (DH 854), edge plain, 12.91g/5h (DH 854a), guillotine (2), edge grained, 11.78g/6h (DH 855), edge plain, 10.89g/6h (DH 855a) [5]. About extremely fine and better, last two with a hint of original colour, DH 854a rare but with collectors’ number ‘1411A’ inked on reverse, DH 854 and especially 855 from the obverse die in flawed state £250-300
