Usual die flaws and traces of alterations in the reverse die, otherwise extremely fine with original colour and attractive reflective surfaces, very rare £150-200

This token utilises the
obv. die initially employed for the Chichester halfpence of Dally & Son (DH Sussex 15-17), combined with a rev. die which traditionally has been associated with John Stubbs Jorden and was perhaps produced c. 1797-8 (Dykes, BNJ 2001, pp.132-3). The order was countermanded by Presbury after about 36 pieces had been struck
