La Gerbe d’Or, 86, Rue de Rivoli, Paris, issued commercial catalogues from 1891/1892. They specialised in tableware, clocks, decorative objects, and gold and silverware. The calendars were offered against buying points. The figure was inspired by the innovative American dancer, Isadora Duncan.
