15th Century, Henry viii, Groat Size (2); Late portrait type, neatly inscibed, obverse mitred bust with crozier, flanked by S-N., legend, ora.pro. nobis. B: ate. nicholae.epi. reverse Groat design, sncte. Nicholae. ora, (inner) pro. nobis. ang (Rigold, class Ib) [2]. First good fine and rare, second with cruder lettering in extremely poor state, but just discernable, both corroded (£50-60)
