Estimate: £220–£250

BRITISH COINS Victoria, Copper Penny, 1856, ornamental trident (SC 155). With a small patch of discolouration on hair just above forehead and another immediately above monarch’s eyebrow, otherwise a superb example: attractively toned to a light chocolate, with faint hints of orginal lustre in places, virtually as struck with practically flawless surfaces, rare in this state (£220-250)
