Hammer Price:

Trinovantes and Catuvellauni, Cunobelin, bronze Unit, Pegasus to left, head turned back, reverse Victory standing left, 2.4 gms (CCB 1973.1; S 325; cf. BMC 1938ff). Some corrosion and blistering to fabric, but main features still bold and otherwise better than fine, sea green patina, very rare (£30-40)

Although not in a high grade, this example is superior to the Van Arsdell plate coin and probably better than the five examples in the British Museum published by Hobbs.
