Buckinghamshire, Aylesbury, Skidmore’s mule Halfpenny, from the same obv. die as previous, rev. man hanging from gibbet, P(eye)T above, cap of Liberty, medallion with anchor and monument inscribed with date, edge grained, 11.47g/6h (DH 16; Preston-Morley 1033). Trifling striking crack in edge, otherwise virtually as struck with considerable original colour; only one other specimen known £600-800
