Buckinghamshire, Aylesbury, Skidmore’s mule Halfpenny, Justice seated right, holding sword and scales, rev. Hendon church, edge grained, 11.29g/6h (DH 14; Preston-Morley 1030, this piece). Brilliant mint state with full original colour, of the highest rarity; only two other specimens known, one of which is in the British Museum £800-1,000
