Buckinghamshire, Aylesbury, Lutwyche’s Halfpenny, 1796, laureate bust of William III right, rev. cap of Liberty and crossed flags, edge plain, 14.10g/12h (DH 7c; Preston-Morley 1025). Tiny metal fault on obverse rim at 6 o’clock and die polishing marks on reverse, otherwise practically as struck, obverse with full original colour; superior to the Preston-Morley specimen and perhaps the finest in private hands £250-300
