Memorial Plaque 1914-18 (Frederick Joseph Robbins) good very fine £60-80

Frederick Joseph Robbins lived in Bristol and enlisted at Bath. As Private 1370 he served in the North Somerset Yeomanry. Robbins was killed in action in France/Flanders, on 13 May 1915, aged 23 years. Having no known grave, his name is commemorated on the Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial. He was the son of George Thomas and Elizabeth Robbins of 17 Elton Road, Bishopston, Bristol.
