Thomas Hargreaves was born in Leeds, Yorkshire. In the published casualty roll, listed as ‘Thomas Hargrave’, Gunner (R.M.A.), slightly wounded 11 April 1855 (London Gazette 24 April 1855). Sold with extracts from the ship’s papers of the steam sloop H.M.S. Wasp, which lists the recipient.
