A. Herbert Thomas was latterly The Head Assistant in the Office of the Deputy Commissioner at Naini Tal. A long serving member of the Volunteers, in 1908 he was awarded the Volunteer Force Long Service Medal, this published in I.A.O. 684 of December 1908. With some copied research.
