H. A. E. Wright was employed by the Public Works Department. During the Great War he served in the 5th Calcutta Battalion, I.D.F. He was awarded the Volunteer Force Long Service Medal as a Sergeant in the Lucknow Auxiliary Force, listed in I.A.O. 832 of November 1927. He was further awarded the Efficiency Medal (India) as a Serjeant in the Lucknow Rifles, A.F.I., notified in I.A.O. 184 of March 1936. With copied research.
