Reginald Perry Bould was born in Tunstall, Staffordshire on 6 January 1884. He was employed with the Indian Railway Service, joining the North Western Railway on 16 November 1905 and then transferring to the Great Indian Peninsula Railway in April 1912. There he was employed as Assistant Telegraph Superintendent. He was promoted to Telegraph Superintendent in October 1926 and he retired in April 1940. Serving in the Volunteers, he was commissioned on 15 October 1914 and was advanced to Lieutenant in April 1917, Captain in April 1926 and Major in January 1933. Major Bould was awarded the Efficiency Decoration (India), this published in the Gazette of India of 14 April 1934. He resigned his commission on 28 April 1934. Sold with copied research.
