Trooper William Henry Talbot Howey, Gorakhpur Light Horse, was awarded the Volunteer Force Long Service Medal, notified in General Order 156 of February 1901. In civilian life he worked for the Opium Department of the United Provinces. Becoming a Sub-Deputy Opium Agent in July 1901; he retired in January 1918. With some copied research.
