Ex Lawson Whalley collection 1877, Coutts collection 1921, and Glendining’s November 1933

1330 John Brady attested at Dublin on 7 December 1839. He landed at Bombay in November 1840 and joined the regiment in Afghanistan on 28 August 1841. Entitled to medals for Jellalabad and Cabul, his name appears on the list of 28 men known to have returned their Mural Crown Jellalabad medals for the new ‘Flying Victory’ medal.
