Jacob White is confirmed on the roll as a Private Royal Marines aboard H.M.S. Rivoli. Approximately 67 clasps were issued to this ship for the capture of the 74-gun Rivoli and the destruction of the brig Mercure. One other man of this name appears on the roll for Navarino.
