King’s Police Medal, G.V.R. (Asst. Supt., Bombay Police); British War and Victory Medals (Lieut.); Delhi Durbar 1911, edge inscibed ‘F. G. Collett, Indian Police’; together with corresponding miniatures, generally good very fine and better (8) £200-250

K.P.M. London Gazette 1 January 1919. The following citation was extracted from the Public Record Office: ‘This officer joined the police department on 7th June 1885 as an Eurpoean constable and after a total service of over 32 years in the Department retired on the 6th March 1918 as first grade Assistant Superintendent of Police. But for a block in promotion he would ordinarily have been a District Superintendent of Police. In addition to his work in the department, which was characterized by zeal and a high sense of duty, he did excellent work in the Savantwadi State in connection with recruiting for the army.’
