Three: Lieutenant B. L. W. Brett, 7th London Regiment and South African Forces

British War and Victory Medals (2.Lieut.) minor correction to rank on the first; Africa Service Medal 1939-45 (N/N B. L. V. Brett); together with Voluntary Medical Service Medal (Doris Alice Brett) and South African Red Cross Society proficiency medallion, 9 carat gold, with silver bar ‘General First Aid’ and gold bar ‘Home Nursing’ (D. Brett) good very fine (5) £50-60

Bertram Lynton Wooldridge Brett served with the 2/28th Bn., London Regiment (Artists’ Rifles) for 4 months; 19th Officer Cadet Bn., for 6 months; 7th Bn. London Regiment, for 18 months; 2/10th Bn. London Regiment, for 2 months; and Transvaal Defence Force for two and a half years. He served in France, August to October 1918, and was wounded on 12 October 1918.
