Second Lieutenant Frederick Adolphus Browning was reported wounded and missing in action 19 September 1918. He died of wounds three days later on 22 September 1918 and is buried at Villers-Bretonneux, Military Cemetery, Somme, France. The month of September 1918 was known as ‘Black september’ due to the large number of losses suffered by the Allied Air Forces. Sold with 9 copied pages of service detail.
