Queen’s South Africa 1899-1902, 2 clasps, Cape Colony, S.A. 1902 (Lt. Col. R. W. Colquhoun, A. & S. Hdrs.) edge bruise, otherwise extremely fine £150-200

Roderick William Colquhoun was born on 29 August 1847, and joined the army in January 1880. He served in South Africa during 1902 as Lieutenant-Colonel and 2nd in command of the 3rd Battalion, Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders. He retired in December 1902 and died at Killicrankie, Perthshire, on 15 November 1918.
