Crimea 1854-56, 1 clasp, Sebastopol (2755 Serjt., 93 Sutherland Highlanders) regimentally impressed naming; Indian Mutiny 1857-59, 2 clasps, Relief of Lucknow, Lucknow (Sergt., 93rd Highlanders); Army L.S. & G.C., V.R., small letter reverse (1662 Sergt., 85th Foot) nearly very fine and better (3) £350-400

Alexander Fraser was born in the Parish of Kirkhill, Knockblain, Inverness, and enlisted at Forres on 24 March 1852. He served in Malta and the Crimea for 2 years 4 months, and in India for 13 years 6 months. He volunteered and transferred to the 85th Foot in July 1869 and was finally discharged on 27 June 1871.
