Edward Claude King was born in Pontefract, Yorkshire, and attested for the Imperial Yeomanry at Doncaster on 24 January 1901. He requested to serve with the 66th (Yorkshire) Company, but must have transferred to the 33rd (Royal East Kent) Company and was discharged from the latter on 23 January 1902. Sold with copy service papers.
