93rd Sutherland Highlanders, a scarce officer’s shoulder belt plate, c. 1837-64 (Parkyn Fig. 529), the rectangular copper-gilt back plate with silver mounts, two hooks and two studs to the reverse; together with an officer’s rectangular dirk belt plate, c. 1850-81, copper-gilt with silver mount, crowned Thistle sprays with unit title and St Andrew at base, ‘XCIII’ within, little gilt remaining and silver mounts very worn on both pieces (2) £100-150
