Lance Corporal William Charles Hills is recorded by the C.W.G.C. as being a casualty on 24 December 1941 whilst attached to the 9th Indian Divisional Signals, Indian Signal Corps. He is buried at Taiping War Cemetery, Malaysia. Sold with a contemporary black and white photograph of his original grave marker.
