Sold with the recipient’s original commission warrants for the rank of 2nd Lieutenant, Land Forces, Royal Regiment of Artillery, dated 10 February 1942, Lieutenant, Land Forces, dated 16 May 1947, this mounted on card, and Pilot Officer in the Air Force of the Defence Forces of Rhodesia and Nyasaland, dated 4 November 1963; together with notification of his advancement to Major, Royal Artillery, dated 28 June 1955.
