1914-15 Star (112165 Tpr., Can. Cav.); British War and Victory Medals (112165 Sjt., C.E.) mounted as worn; together with a Canadian Legion Badge, gilt and enamel, reverse inscribed, ‘F. W. Yerks, Br. 216 Petrolia 1942-45’, with enamelled ‘Past President - Branch’ brooch bar; C.E.F. ‘Service at the Front’ lapel badge, enamelled; and a mounted pair of miniatures: British War and Victory Medals, good very fine (7) £140-180

Francis William Yerks enlisted in the 7th Canadian Mounted Rifles for the Canadian Expeditionary Force at London, Ontario, on 14 May 1915. He served in France with the Canadian Light Horse and Canadian Engineers. Discharged as ‘medically unfit’ at London, Ontario, on 23 December 1918. With riband bar and original Discharge Certificate.
