R.V.M. Silver awarded in July 1934 to Risaldar Khairati Singh, Bahadur, 16th Light Cavalry, for services as one of H.M’s. Indian Orderly Officers in 1934.

Khairati Singh served in the 27th (later renumbered 16th) Light Cavalry in the War of 1914-21 - France and Belgium, 31 December 1914 to 27 March 1916, Iraq, 26 February 1917 to 12 June 1918; South Persia 1918-19; Afghanistan N.W.F. 1919; Waziristan 1919-24.

Captain Chandra Bahn Singh was the son of Risaldar Lakhpat Singh, brother of Captain Khairati Singh.
