Cantii, Uninscribed issues, Bronze, animal (boar?) right, bird above, rev. horse right, annulet and line above, annulet above head, 1.92g/3h (BMC 2484-6; VA 154.3; S 176). Fine or better, green patina, very rare £80-100

The present specimen seems to show a large bird sitting on the animal’s back. This is not visible on either the BMC or Van Arsdell illustrations
