Kirkstall Abbey, 38mm (Bell A2); Halifax Industrial Society Ltd, brass Five Pounds, obv. man ploughing, 30mm (Rains 22; cf. MG 1040); Hull, G[reat] N[orthern] S[team] F[ishing] Co Ltd, brass, rev. two fish, stamped 1393, 30mm; Ripon, Williamson’s (2), copper and brass, bee-hive, revs. stagecoach, different dies, latter by W. Hill, both 31mm (Hawkins p.822; Noble II, 1147) [5]. First extremely fine but a few spots on obverse rim, others about very fine and better £60-80

SNC June 1989, p.153); Great Northern Steam Fishing Co Ltd, established 1880; Williamson’s, varnish and japan manufacturers, Low Skellgate, est. 1775, proprietor T. Williamson at the time of issue, c. 1830-40, still in business today
