A. J. Hepburn, M.B.I.M., born 7 August 1921. Commissioned in the Engineering Branch on 5 March 1959; promoted to Flight Officer, 5 March 1961; Flight Lieutenant, 5 March 1964, and to Squadron Leader on 1 July 1969. He retired on 28 August 1971.
