Albert Walter Bradshaw was killed in action in Holland on 1 March 1945, while serving in the 4th Battalion, Northamptonshire Regiment. He was 30 years of age, left a widow, Emily Charlotte Annie Bradshaw, of Far Cotton, Northampton, and was buried in the Venray War Cemetery, Holland.

The Northamptonshires were not deployed in any strength during operations on the North West Frontier in 1935, Bradshaw’s relevant Medal & clasp accordingly being a rarity.
