Akbar Ali enlisted in No. 4 (Hazara) Mountain Battery, Punjab Field Force, in March 1869, and rose to be Subadar-Major of the four P.F.F. batteries. On retirement in November 1903, he was appointed Honorary Captain. He was awarded the Order of British India, 1st Class in August 1901. Award of Delhi Durbar confirmed. Sold with some copied research.
