124th Duchess of Connaught’s Own Baluchistan Infantry Officer’s Pouch Belt Plate, a very fine and rare example in solid die-cast gilded silver or silver plate, crowned plinth and laurels, these with battle honours ‘Aden Central India Afghanistan 1879-80’, at the base of the laurels a tri-part scroll, ‘British East Africa 1896’, in the centre a Bath style cross with title circle ‘Baluchistan Infantry’ and central numerals ‘124’, four screw post fasteners, 1903-1922, mint state £250-350

Formed from the 24th Bombay Infantry, in 1922 became 1st Bn. (Duchess of Connaught’s Own) 10th Baluch Regiment.
