A large and interesting collection of shooting, sporting, commemorative and other medallions and awards, comprising: Shooting awards (9), including the ‘H. L. Brown Silver Challenge Trophy’, silver, 36mm., a King’s Trophy ‘Special Distinction Medal’, bronze, 50mm. (E. Hoodless, 1929), Society of Miniature Rifle Clubs’ Medals (2), including the Bell Medal, bronze, 37mm., National Rifle Association Medals (3), including one for the Astor County Cup, bronze, 38mm., and a County of Lanark Miniature Rifle Club award, bronze and enamel, 30mm., the reverse engraved, ‘League, 1937-38, M. Graham’; together with assorted Sporting Medals (21), including awards presented to Leading Aircraftsman H. R. O’Donnell, Royal Air Force (6), mainly of the wartime period while based at R.A.F. Cranage, the whole contained in an old inscribed cardboard box, other Military prize awards (6), two silver, four bronze, and two named, a series of silver awards presented by the ‘Liverpool Gym’ (8), and a Luton United Harrier & Sports Club award, bronze and enamel, 32mm., the reverse engraved, ‘1 Mile Flat. Champ., 3rd., G. Goodship’; a quantity of unofficial Coronation & Jubilee commemoratives, from Queen Victoria to Elizabeth II (14), one in silver, but mainly in white metal; assorted issues of an Empire nature (4), comprising Coomassie Agricultural Show 1908, 3rd prize, bronze, 38mm., First Visit of the Commonwealth Fleet to Sydney Oct. 4 1913, gilt metal, 27mm., and Edward, Prince of Wales, ‘Our Empire Prince’, bronze and white metal commemoratives, 37mm., dated 24 May 1927 and 24 May 1931; assorted School Attendance Medals (9), all bronze, including Educational Committee, County of Hampshire, bronze, 39mm., Educational Committee, Surrey County Council, three dated clasps 1905 to 1907, bronze, 38mm.
