Thomas Applebee was born in London circa 1818-19, and enlisted there for unlimited service in H.M’s Bombay 1st Regiment of European Infantry (Fusiliers) on 5 December 1838, a bookbinder by trade. He was discharged at Bombay with ‘Good Character’ on 27 January 1860, aged 41, on a Pension of One Shilling a day in Europe. Sold with copy discharge papers.
