C.; Angus Grant) last lacking suspension; another, naming erased; General Service 1918-62, G.VI.R., no clasp (6284035 Pte. S. A. Finch, The Buffs) service number corrected; Efficiency Medal, G.V.R., lacking suspension, unnamed; Army of India 1799-1826, lacking suspension and clasp, naming erased, heavily bruised, scratched, badly worn; together with a Sebastopol clasp with carriage and the face only of a ‘Defence of Delhi’ clasp, very fine and better except where stated (7) £60-80

William Henry Murch was born in Harwich, Essex, and living in Brixton, enlisted at Lambeth, Surrey. Serving in the 13th Battalion K.R.R.C., he was killed in action on 3 July 1917. Having no known grave, his name is commemorated on the Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial.
