Thomas Reuben Bridges, who entered Royal service at Sandringham in 1917, was a keen Territorial soldier, being awarded his Efficiency Medal in 1937 (AO 243 of November that year refers), and, having witnessed action with the Royal Norfolks in the Middle East and been advanced to Warrant Officer Class 2, a Bar in 1947 (AO 6 of February that year refers). And for his services on the Sandringham Estate, he was awarded his Royal Household Faithful Service Medal in 1937, in addition to the Jubilee 1935 and Coronation 1937 Medals. Bridges was resident at Flitcham, King’s Lynn, Norfolk at the time of his release from military service in the rank of R.Q.M.S. in August 1945; sold with related research.
