Godfrey first appears in Thacker’s Indian Directory in 1904, being listed as the Finishing Manager in the New Egerton Woollen Mills at Dharival in the Punjab. He was later Milling Manager of the same establishment and is last listed in the 1919 edition. He was awarded the Indian Volunteer Force Long Service Medal in IAO 86 of March 1915; sold with brief research.
