Percy Edgar Le Page was born in Guernsey in about 1915. A Carpenter by occupation, he served in the Guernsey Militia before the War. On the outbreak of hostilities, he was drafted into the British Army and was posted to the 2nd Battalion Queen’s Westminster Rifles. For his services in the war he was awarded the 1939-45 Star; France & Germany Star; Defence and War Medals. His address at this time was given as Houge Pere, Vale, Guernsey. He was awarded the Efficiency Medal (Guernsey) by List No. 4 in A.O. 134 of August 1946, and was posthumously awarded the Clasp by List No. 17 of June 1951. He died of heart failure on 1 June 1950.
