Charles Earl MacGregor served as a Private and Bandsman in the Prince Edward Island Light Horse, July 1931-August 1941. During the War, 8 September 1942-19 December 1945, he served as a Bandsman in the Royal Canadian Naval Volunteer Reserve. After the war he transferred back to the Prince Edward Island Light Horse as a Bandsman. On 30 May 1958 he was commissioned a Lieutenant. He was awarded the Efficiency Medal (Canada) in 1959 when he was a Lieutenant in the Prince Edward Island Regiment. The award was notified in the Supplement to Canadian Army Orders, Issue No. 642, of 18 May 1959. The following year he was awarded the Canadian Decoration, published in the Supplement to Canadian Army Orders, Issue No. 666, of 18 April 1960. Lieutenant MacGregor was transferred to the Supplementary Reserve on 31 December 1967. With copied research.
