19th Century, Re-Opening of the Royal Exchange, 1844, a large copper medal by W. Wyon, bust of Sir Thomas Gresham left, rev. statue of Victoria, Royal Exchange behind, 74mm (BHM 2185; E 1390; W & E 447; Taylor 146x). Tiny flaw on obverse rim at 2 o’clock (and corresponding on reverse) and a small spot below bust, otherwise virtually as struck (£60-80)
