Jewish Coinage, Judæa, Bar Kochba Revolt (132-5 CE), Zuz-Denarius, undated [year 3, 134/5 CE], ‘Shim’on’ in Hebrew within wreath, rev. ‘for the freedom of Jerusalem’ in Hebrew, flagon with handle, lulav to right, 3.16g/1h (Mildenberg 121; Meshorer 283 var (pellet in center of obv.); AJC II 66; Hendin 726; Bromberg 498, same dies). Overstruck on a Bostra Drachm of Trajan (cf. SNG ANS 1155), extremely fine, grey tone (£350-400)
