Euboea, Chalcis, Drachm, c. 338-308, head of nymph Chalcis right, hair rolled, wearing triple-pendant ear-ring and necklace, rev. eagle with wings outstretched, holding serpent in beak and claws, 3.66g/10h (Picard p.32, 8, pl.8, 80; SNG Lockett 1785-7). Good very fine, nicely toned (£200-250)
