Pair to Aston sold with a quantity of original documentation, including his Certificate of Transfer to the Reserve, dated 15 March 1919 (from the Royal Defence Corps, having originally enlisted in the 16/Royal Warwickshires in November 1915); assorted programmes and menus, etc., including those for the unveiling of the Birmingham City Battalions Memorial, 12 November 1933, the 25th (1952), 30th (1957), 40th (1967), Diamond Jubilee (1974), 52nd (1979) and 54th (1981) Reunion Dinners for veterans of the 16th Battalion, Royal Warwickshires, and Handsworth Grammar School roll of 1914-1918 servicemen, Aston listed under entrants for the year 1909.
