Robert Seddon, a native of Westhoughton, Bolton, was killed in action in Belgium on 11 November 1916, while serving in the 1/5th Battalion, Royal Lancaster Regiment. Aged 20 years, he was buried in the Vlamertinge Military Cemetery, Ypres.
