Alban Edward Greentree, a native of Portsmouth, was killed on the occasion of an internal explosion in H.M.S. Bulwark off Sheerness on 26 November 1914. Aged 29 years, he left a widow, Ethel, and has no known grave, being commemorated on the Portsmouth Memorial.
