Corporal Flint was awarded the Military Medal (London Gazette 14 May 1919). With copied m.i.c.

William George Douglas Green was born in Birmingham. A Fitter by occupation, he enlisted into the 20th Battalion London Regiment and served in the France/Flanders theatre of war, 19 August-3 December 1915. Being discharged from the Army he enlisted as an Air Mechanic 2nd Class in the R.F.C. on 26 June 1916. He later transferred to the R.A.F. as a Corporal Mechanic and in September 1918 was appointed an unpaid Sergeant Mechanic. Sold with copied R.F.C./R.A.F. service papers and m.i.c.
