I. P. Brotherton was born in 1930. He became a Pilot Officer in 1950; a Flying Officer in 1951; a Flight Lieutenant in 1955 and Squadron Leader in 1966. He retired in 1977. Served as a Navigator. With R.A.F. Intelligence, 1968-71 and on the Staff of the C-in-C’s Committee, Western Support Command, 1974-77.
